Mathematician. Mother. Wife. Leader.
I am a professor of mathematics at the University of Washington Tacoma. Mother of Anson and Zachary. Wife to Mark. President of the Mathematical Association of America.
I started writing (almost) daily reflections March 7, 2020, the day after the UW system announced face-to-face teaching would cease beginning Monday, March 9. It’s taken me 6 weeks to decide to incorporate and continue them in a blog. I will continue writing until I can no longer think of anything to say.
